SB scholars program

United States Students

SB Scholars in the U.S. begin our program as high school juniors and enjoy a diverse array of opportunities to gain knowledge on various careers, academic tools, and ways to access education resources and opportunities. In the mentorship program, students are paired with a leader with similar backgrounds and career interests. Additionally, they can explore various careers through our interactive education curriculum featuring spectacular speakers and educators. We specifically offer introductory courses in computer science, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and health and wellness. Students are also provided with individualized support for college, financial aid, and scholarship applications. These include both scholarships provided by the School and Beyond Foundation and external resources.

In short, our students receive:

  • 18-24 months of mentorship

  • 6 months of intro classes & speaker series

  • Support with college and scholarship applications

  • Internal scholarships

ghanAian Students

SB Scholars in Ghana join our program as University students and participate in interdisciplinary career development and skill building opportunities. The mentorship program connects students with leaders in their prospective industries to gain industry knowledge and prepare for their application in the workforce. The education curriculum and speaker series enables students to learn and apply tangible skills related to their career and academic interests. We specifically offer introductory courses in computer science, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and health and wellness. Furthermore, the School and Beyond Foundation provides scholarships to support student’s education endeavors.

In short, our students receive:
